The government has issued the directives keeping in view the current security situation in the country.
Lahore: The Punjab Home Department Wednesday wrote a letter to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) alerting it to have strict security during the election rally in Lahore, GNN reported.
The letter stated that PTI has announced to take out a rally from Zaman Park Lahore to Data Darbar, on the other hand there is also Aurat March today as per women’s day. Therefore, the organizers of the PTI rally should make more security arrangements.
Notable, PTI had announced to take out the rally from Zaman Park today at 1pm, which will end at Data Darbar via Ferozepur Road under the leadership of Imran Khan.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry stated that the rally will be taken out to express solidarity with the constitution and judiciary.
