New York: In an unfortunate incident, two people were killed, while eight sustained the injuries in a stampede at GloRilla’s concert in Rochester, New York.
According to foreign media, the stampede happened at a concert in an entertainment venue in Rochester, where well-known American rapper GloRilla also invited.
Police officials stated that there was panic due to firing at the concert, however, the real reason for the stampede has not been ascertained as yet and investigations are underway.
The rapper GloRilla had completed her performance before the incident, but expressed regret over the accident.
The singer stated: “My heart is broken over the accident, my fans are my world, and I hope that the injured will recover soon”.
“We do not have any evidence of gunshots being fired or of anyone being shot or stabbed at the scene,” Police Chief David M Smith said.
