The PML-N senior vice-president, without naming the PTI chairman in her tweet, called him jackal for cancelling the rally on Sunday, saying that he did so due to the fear of police opposite to her father Nawaz Sharif who broke all obstacles and restored the judiciary.

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz once again came down hard upon Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, calling him “jackal” for cancelling rally on Sunday (today).
Taking to Twitter, “those who cancel their "movements" due to the fear of the police, those who stay at home because of police fear are called jackals, and those who break every obstacle of dictator Musharraf's stand, lead from the front and, by the grace of Allah, restore the judiciary before reaching Gujranwala. This lion-hearted leader is called Nawaz Sharif!,”.
#گیدڑ_پھر_چھپ_گیا pic.twitter.com/kPGZ8CekzS

Her reaction came after PTI Chairman Imran postponed his rally till Monday due to Section 144 imposed by the provincial government.
Earlier, Imran Khan had tweeted, “ The PTI Chief said that despite Zaman Park being sealed, the people of Lahore are already out in huge numbers . However, I cannot allow any injuries to my workers, the general public or my police just so these fascists can register more FIRs against us and find a pretext to run away from elections,”.

In another Tweet, Khan said, “It seems again Sec 144 has been imposed illegally solely on PTI election campaign as all other public activities are ongoing in Lahore. Only Zaman Park has been surrounded by containers & heavy police contingent. Clearly, like 8 March, Punjab CM & police want to provoke clashes,”.

He also wrote, “to file more sham FIRs against PTI ldrshp & workers & to use as pretext for postponing elections. Elec Schedule has been announced so how can Sec 144 be imposed on pol activity? I AM TELLING ALL PTI WORKERS NOT TO FALL INTO THIS TRAP. Hence we have postponed rally till tomorrow,”.

Khan had announced rally on Saturday evening for 2pm today [Sunday]. However, the local administration imposed Section 144 and refused to remove it as the cricket match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 was to be played to Gaddafi Stadium.
