President summons Senate session today
It will discuss matters of national importance.

Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi has summoned the session of the Senate at the Parliament House in Islamabad today (Wednesday) at 11:00 am.
It will discuss matters of national importance.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.
During the meeting, they discussed importance of effective legislation for the development and prosperity of the country.
Overall political situation and other matters of mutual interest were also discussed in the meeting.
Federal Ministers Ishaq Dar and Azam Nazeer Tarar were also present during the meeting.
