Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday summoned important meeting of party’s senior leadership at 4pm in Zaman Park, Lahore, GNN reported.
According to details, the meeting will discuss the police operation in Zaman Park and court proceedings.
The meeting will also shed light on preparations made for PTI sit-in announced to be held at Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday.
PTI leader and vice president Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated that they had submitted an application to Lahore administration for public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan.
The meeting will also discuss Imran Khan’s appearance at session court Islamabad.
On the other hand, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh of Lahore High Court (LHC) heard the case of PTI sit-in in Lahore and remarked that the public gathering cannot take place on Sunday.
Justice Tariq Saleem stated that everything has a protocol to do it, adding that even if someone has to arrange a wedding ceremony, they first discuss the matter.
Judge said: “If PTI wants to do a public gathering, they should plan it at least 15 days beforehand”.
Court adjourned the hearing till tomorrow (Friday) for final verdict.
