Nine drummers rescued during alleged police encounter in Ghotki
The abductors used to torture and keep them in chains.
Ubauro: Nine drummer hostages—who belonged to Chiniot— were rescued during the alleged police encounter in Rawanti, area of Ghotki, GNN reported.
According to police, the hostages were called and abducted 20 days ago from Chiniot for a wedding ceremony.
The bandits had demanded a ransom of millions of rupees from the heirs of the hostages.
The rescued drummers will be sent to their families after investigation, who stated that the abductors used to torture and keep them in chains.
