Saudi Arabia invests $234M in film sector
The announcement was made during an "Ignite-the Scene" event in Riyadh.

Riyadh: The Culture Development Fund (CDF) of Saudi Arabia Tuesday announced an investment of $234 million to promote its film sector in the kingdom.
According to foreign media, along with the promotion of tourism, Saudi Arabia was also planning to expand its film sector.
Its aim to empower the private sector as well as offer financial packages to local and foreign companies to promote content of Saudi film industry.
Foreign media reported that the announcement was made during an "Ignite-the Scene" event in Riyadh organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
