Rain, windstorm lash Punjab, other cities

Lahore: There had been heavy rain with thunder in various cities of the country including Punjab.

According to reports, the weather in Khushab became pleasant after the rains, while in Bhakkar, Rajanpur, low-lying areas were flooded due to heavy rains.

Gojra, Toba Tek Singh, Kamalia, Jhang and Jahanian also experienced heavy rain.

On the other hand, it rained intermittently in North Waziristan, the gram and wheat crops were damaged due to the rains.

While the power supply was also suspended after the heavy rains, due to which citizens faced problems during Suhoor.
