36-year-old Nida said it is an honor for her to captain the Pakistan Women's team.


Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board appointed Nida Rashid Dar as captain of Pakistan Women Cricket Team.
According to details, PCB has appointed Mark Coles as the head coach of the women's team and Saleem Jaffar as the chief selector.
Taufeeq Umar has been appointed as batting coach while, Mohtashim Rasheed will be the fielding coach. Asmavia Iqbal, Marina Iqbal and Mohtashim Rashid will be the member of selection committee.
Pakistan Women's Cricket Team former captain Bisma Maruf announced her resignation from the women's team leadership last month, after which Chairman PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi approved the appointment of Nida Dar as the captain.
36-year-old Nida said that it is an honor for her to captain the Pakistan Women's team.
Her first tour as a captain will be to South Africa which is scheduled in the month of August this year.
