Israeli army says ‘striking in Lebanon’ following air attacks on Gaza amid rising tension in wake of Al-Aqsa raids.


Jerusalem: Israeli army attacked the Palestinian city of Gaza where several explosions were heard.
According to a foreign news agency, Israeli army has confirmed the attack on the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian security sources say that several training sites of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas have been targeted in the attacks, no casualties were immediately reported.
Earlier, Israel blamed Palestinian groups for the rockets fired from Lebanon, to which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to retaliate against the rocket attack.
The attacks on Gaza, a blockaded Palestinian enclave on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, and Lebanon came after Israel said it was targeted by rockets.
