Flight PK 747 was supposed to depart at 9:00 pm on Saturday


Lahore: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK747 moving from Lahore to Madinah could not take off even after being delayed for more than 15 hours, GNN reported.
Flight PK 747 was supposed to depart at 9:00 pm on Saturday, but it has not yet departed and the passengers are facing serious problems due to the unusual delay.
Passengers have also protested at Allama Iqbal International Airport as they have fear of cancellation of the permit to enter Riyadh ul Jannah. Many passengers would may also face expiration of Umrah permits due to delayed flight.
It was told by the airline management that flight will depart after 10 am, however it had not took off as yet.
Ascertaining the reason, administration of PIA stated that the flight could not depart due to technical fault in the aircraft which will be fixed soon and the aircraft will be dispatched.
The passengers and management involved into arguments over which the travelers were offered food by the administration to kill their time. However, people rejected the offer and demanded as soon as possible departure of the flight.
