Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, PTI Chairman Imran and other prominent leaders and heads of the political parties wishes extend the good wishes for Christians and emphasize over peace and harmony.


Lahore: Like many other parts of the world, Christians celebrate Easter with religous zeal in Pakistan on Sunday (today).
Prime Minister Shehbaz, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI Chairman Imran Khan and heads of many other political parties facilitated the Christian community on Easter.
The leaders and social activists extended good wishes for the Christians in Pakistan and all over the word, saying that peace and harmony are important for living together.
Taking to Twitter, PM Shehbaz Sharif said, “Wishing a very happy Easter to Christian community around the world, particularly our Pakistani Christian brothers & sisters celebrating this day. Let us all vow to do our bit in making the world a peaceful place where communities can live in harmony & build a tomorrow of hope,”.

PTI Chief Imran Khan wrote, “Wishing all our Christian citizens a very happy Easter,”.

PPP Co-Chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari also extended good wishes for the Christians in Pakistan as well as in other parts of the world.
He urged the non-Muslim citizens in the country to educate their children.
