16 including three Pakistanis killed in Dubai building fire

Dubai: In an unfortunate incident, 15 people including three Pakistanis were killed while nine people sustained the injuries as fire erupted in a residential building.

According to Dubai Police, fire broke out in a residential building in Al Ras, a densely populated area of Dera Dubai.

Initial investigation stated that there was no proper system of fire prevention and safety routes in the building. However, police is investigating to ascertain the cause of the fire.

The authorities have sealed the flats and commercial outlets in the building, and they have been advised the residents to stay elsewhere until further notice.
