Islamabad: Stated Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Wednesday announced five-day holidays for banks across Pakistan on account of Eid-ul-Fitr.

It is pertinent to note that earlier federal government announced the five-day public holidays for the religious event that Muslims celebrate across the world every year.
The approval of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays was recommended to the Cabinet Division.
It is also reported that government might extend the holidays from five days to six days.
