The possibility of sighting of the Eid moon is very low across the country today.


Islamabad: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Thursday will meet in Islamabad at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony this evening for sighting the crescent of Shawwal 1444 AH.
Zonal and District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also hold their meetings at their respective headquarters, while the final announcement regarding sighting of the moon will be made by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad.
The possibility of sighting of the Eid moon is very low across the country today. In case the moon is not visible, Eid-ul-Fitr will take place on Saturday (April 22).
According to the Department of Meteorology, there will be a solar eclipse on April 20. Due to which the new moon will not appear in different countries.
The solar eclipse will start at 6:30 am and end at 12 noon on April 20 (today).
