Lahore: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Tuesday reiterated his commitment to provide best health care facilities to infants and children across the province during his visit at Children hospital in Lahore.
He said emergency department of the hospital is being extended keeping in view of rush of patients in hospital.
During the visit Mohsin Naqvi stayed near the bed of a deceased child in the ward and inquired about her.
The family of the girl alleged that closed relatives have poisoned their daughter that caused the death and they want postmortem to be done.
At their request, Naqvi directed the hospital management to get the postmortem done.
He also appreciated the dedication of doctors and inquired the parents about the facilities provided at the hospital.
