Eight-year-old dies after mobile explodes in her face

Kerala: In an unfortunate incident, an eight-year-old girl died when the mobile phone allegedly exploded near her face while using it Kerala, state of India.

According to foreign media, the incident happened when the young girl identified as Adithya Sree was using mobile phone at night.

Police stated while the girl was using her mobile phone, it exploded near her face, which badly affected her face. The girl was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment during which she lost her life.

It is reported that the victim was a third grader in Christ New Life School in Thiruvilwamala.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, the police said.
