DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry says Indian claims cannot change the status of Occupied Kashmir


Islamabad: Director Geneeral of Inter-Services Public Realtion s Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that public was the center of power and they also did not want that the Pakistan should enganged with the particular agenda.
He also said that there were some elements who intentionally or unintentionally were following the foreign agenda on the social media.
"Pakistan Army is not the support of any particular agenda or party," said the DG ISPR while addressing a press conference on Tuesday. He said that when the army was used for any particular party or agenda or group then there was nothign but choas and anarchy.
While responding to a question if the army would be available for election duty, he said the army respected all the politicians and army. Pakistan army and public did not want to inclinde towards any particular agenda or party.
"Pakistan Army is deployed under Article 245 of the Constitution and the input regarding deployment of army for election has already been submitted to the Supreme Court and the Election Commission of Pakistan," said the DG ISPR.
He stated that that India's claims could not change the reality of illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. India did propaganda against Pakistan and would continued to do so as it used disinfo lab to spread false information.
The DG ISPR said that on several occasions, UNMOGIP officials were taken to the Line of Control (LoC) by Pakistan while Secretary General of the OIC also visited the LoC.
"On the other hand, India does not allow any foreign observers or media to visit the LoC," said the DG ISPR while addressing a press conference on Tuesday.
The DG ISPR further stated that Pakistan is always prepared to face all aggressive actions of India. India has committed several violations of the Line of Control this year. The Pakistan Army, he said, also killed six Indian spies.
Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Balochistan organizations had been proven to have links with foreign agencies.
He stated that Pakistan had always cooperated with the United Nations military observers. The purpose of the press conference, he said, wasto highlight the professional activities of the army and its actions against terrorism.
