ECC greenlights cardiac stents price hike

Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has approved the maximum price hike of 21% of cardiac stents of four international companies.

A meeting of ECC was held under the chairmanship of federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in which the maximum price of cardiac stents was approved.

According to the announcement, the Promos Premier American stent will cost Rs58,765.

The price of Ulti-Master Japanese stent is set at Rs65,507. The Designo X2 American stent is priced at Rs72,450 whereas the price of Curry 8 Turkey / Italy stent has been approved to set at Rs53,130.
