Lahore: Pakistan's top actress Saba Qamar informed her fans about her illness that she has been suffering from lungs cancer.
Saba turned to photo-sharing app Instagram and posted a story in which she shared a picture of drip on her hand.
Baaghi actress said that she has been suffering with the disease for few days “because of the diesel being used very commonly on the sets to create the smog effect”.
She urged everyone to stop using diesel fuel because it really is injurious to health.
Qamar added: “No one knows better than I do, and it is the worst feeling ever”.
Filmmaker and actor Sarmad Khost also reacted to the news of the actress's illness and forbade the use of diesel on the sets.
The director wrote: “I also don’t understand this obsession with haze in the visuals”.
If it is so inevitable than we need to find better solutions for this, Khoosat added.
