Chief Commissioner Islamabad had issued the notification to arrest him.
Islamabad: Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid has been house arrested in GB House.
According to media reports, Chief Minister Khalid has been detained in view of the public nuisance situation, where a heavy contingent of Rangers and police have been deployed outside GB House.
Reportedly, the movement of Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid has been restricted while Interior Minister GB Shams Lone, Law Minister Sohail Abbas and other cabinet members are also accompanying the Chief Minister.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad had issued the notification to arrest him.
The Chief Minister represents Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) PTI in the province. The Baltistan police were also sent to Zaman Park Lahore as 'protective shield' to prevent his arrest.
