Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Atta Bandial said that Khan is currently in the custody of the Supreme Court.

Islamabad: Supreme Court Thursday issued an order that former Prime Minister Imran Khan should appear in Islamabad High Court (IHC) by 11:00 am today (Friday).
Yesterday, the Supreme Court declared the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as illegal and ordered his immediate release.
Supreme Court, while ordering Imran Khan to move to Police Lines Guest House, ordered him to approach IHC again today.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Atta Bandial said that Khan is currently in the custody of the Supreme Court.
He also stated that when a person comes to the Court of Law, he surrenders before the court.
“We believe that the arrest of Imran Khan is illegal,” added Umar Bandial, stating that IHC should hear the case tomorrow and Imran should accept its decision.
