Bushra Bibi came to the court with husband Imran Khan.


Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday granted the protective bail to Bushra Bibi—wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan—in Al-Qadir Trust case till May 23, GNN reported.
According to details, two member bench headed by Justice Shehbaz Rizvi heard the case and granted bail to Bushra who had filed an application. The court earlier expressed displeasure over absence of Khan's wife.
However, later Bushra Bibi came to the court with husband Imran Khan.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB), federal government and others have been made parties in the petition.
The bail petition maintained that the ongoing investigation by is NAB illegal and expresses fear of arrest in the case.
It also added that accountability court of Islamabad has to be referred to, and sought protective bail in this regard.
Earlier Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has consulted with the legal team in this regard who was present in the court. The petition was filed through Intizar Panjhotha, Khawaja Haris and Ali Ijaz Buttar.
