Makkah: In a devastating fire incident at a hotel in Makkah, eight Pakistani nationals lost their lives, while six others sustained injuries.
The Foreign Office has stated that Pakistan's Mission in Jeddah is in contact with local authorities to extend necessary assistance to the victims and their families.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed profound grief and sorrow over the unfortunate incident, specifically mourning the loss of eight Pakistani pilgrims.
He conveyed his condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families.
The Prime Minister has instructed the Ministry of Religious Affairs to ensure the provision of the best possible medical care for the injured.
He also directed the Ministry to facilitate the families of the deceased during this difficult time.
