Islamabad: India finds itself increasingly isolated as several countries opt to boycott the G20 summit being held in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), a violation of international laws.

In a significant blow to India's diplomatic standing, China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have all decided to abstain from attending the summit.

China, a key player in global affairs, announced its refusal to participate, citing its opposition to holding conferences in disputed territories.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated, "China firmly opposes holding any form of G20 meetings on disputed territory. We will not attend such meetings."

Following China's lead, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt also expressed their reservations and skipped the registration process for the summit.

In a show of solidarity, political parties and freedom fighter groups in IIOJK have declared a complete strike in the region.

A joint statement by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Azad Jammu and Kashmir political leadership called for a shutdown on May 22.

Furthermore, anti-India protests and rallies are planned in major capitals worldwide to denounce the G20 meeting being held in the UN-designated disputed territory of IIOJK.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari arrived in Muzaffarabad for a three-day visit to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people against India's violation of international laws.

Speaking to the media, Bilawal emphasized that India's attempt to silence the Kashmiri voice through a conference would fail.

He highlighted that India's actions contradict UN resolutions and undermine its credibility in the world.
