The protestors stated that they have not received their salaries for past nine months.
Islamabad: The employees of Radio Pakistan have protested in Red Zone area in front of Radio Pakistan building for not getting their salaries for nine months, GNN reported.
According to details, the protestors stated that they have not received their salaries for past nine months, whereas the retired employees have not received commutation for three years.
The employees have raised slogans against government stating that if Prime Minister does not take the notice of the non-payment of salaries immediately, they will protest outside the Parliament.
On the occasion, strict security arrangements have been observed on Radio Pakistan road, where Frontier Constabulary (FC), Counter Terrorism Department Court (CTD) and Islamabad police personnel have been deployed to control the situation.
