Pakistan army had no involvement in Imran’s arrest: Khawaja
Defense minister said: “Rangers assisted police to arrest Imran Khan".
Islamabad: Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif Tuesday said that Pakistan army had no role in arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, GNN reported.
According to details, defense minister said: “Rangers assisted police to arrest Imran Khan. He is just trying to incite people and trying find justification for attacks on Army installations”.
Talking to media, he stated that the alliance parties have not consulted regarding banning Imran Khan and PTI. However, if any such need arises, the consultations would be made immediately.
He further said if the negotiation committee of PTI leaves party, then there should an alternative option.
