The attackers fled from the scene however, the body of the patient has not been handed over to the family.


Lahore: The family members of a patient allegedly attacked duty doctor in Children Hospital after the child brought for treatment could not survive last night (Tuesday), GNN reported.
According to details, a child patient was brought to the hospital in emergency after which her surgery was planned. However, she could not survive and died before the operation.
Responding to which the furious relatives attacked the duty doctor and abused the nurses. Resultantly the doctor became severely injured and pleaded for mercy.
The attackers fled from the scene however, the body of the patient has not been handed over to the family.
It is also stated that security officer was not present at night when the incident took place due to which the attackers were successful to severely injure the doctor.

On the other hand, the doctors have called the protest and closed the Outpatient Department (OPD) for patients demanding the legal action against the attackers. Protesting at the Ferozepur Road Lahore, doctors have also blocked the road from the side leading towards Kasur.
