Abrar-ul-Haq apologizes for performing in London after PTI exit
Abrar-ul-Haq issued an apology after facing criticism for performing at a concert in London.
Karachi: Renowned singer and former PTI member, Abrar-ul-Haq, has issued an apology after facing criticism for performing at a concert in London shortly after his resignation from politics.
Haq tearfully announced his departure from the PTI on Friday, but soon after, he was seen performing at a charity event.
In an interview with Waseem Badami, Haq expressed regret if his actions hurt anyone's sentiments and clarified that the concert was scheduled before his PTI exit.
He emphasized that the event was organized for a hospital under the Sahara Trust, not for a housing society associated with Aleem Khan, as speculated online.
Haq acknowledged both sides of the argument but expressed remorse for not realizing the potential repercussions.
Denying reports of being mobbed by PTI workers, he claimed that those who confronted him were "planted people" and journalists.
