ICC acknowledges Pakistan's hosting capabilities for the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Lahore: A delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC), led by Chairman Greg Barclay and CEO Geoff Allardice, visited Pakistan and expressed satisfaction with the country's capability to host the 2025 Champions Trophy.
ICC officials also hinted at playing a mediating role between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
They sought assurance from Pakistan regarding their participation in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup and urged the PCB not to insist on a hybrid model for their matches.
The visit holds significance as tensions arise over the Asia Cup and the potential relocation of matches to a neutral venue.
