Rights activist Jibran Nasir safely returns home after mysterious absence
After return, the police say a team will visit Mr. Nasir to gather information about his whereabouts during his absence.
Karachi: The prominent lawyer and activist, Jibran Nasir, has been safely reunited with his family after an almost day-long "absence," as confirmed by the police on Friday night.
Following his return, the police stated that a team would visit Mr. Nasir to gather information about his whereabouts during his absence.
MQM's Faisal Subzwari took to Twitter to confirm the news, expressing gratitude by saying, "He's back, thank God."

Earlier, Mr. Nasir's wife, Mansha Pasha, an actress, shared a video message stating that he was "picked up" by a group of unidentified individuals on Thursday night. According to Pasha, they were returning home after dinner when their car was stopped by a white Vigo vehicle. Approximately 15 armed individuals forcefully took her husband away.
Pasha appealed to the public, requesting them to raise their voices and pray for her husband's swift return. The incident has caused shock and concern among numerous celebrities, who are calling for the immediate release of the rights activist.
Actor Osman Khalid Butt took to Twitter, urging for Nasir's release and stating, "May we see you back home soon - and safe, brother."

Meanwhile, the group has announced a protest outside the Karachi Press Club today (Friday) at 4 PM, inviting people to join them in solidarity with Jibran's family and friends, demanding his immediate release.
