Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveys heartiest felicitations on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan to President Erdogan on his re-election as President of Türkiye and wished him continued success.


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended the inauguration ceremony of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Presidential Complex in Ankara today.
He was invited by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Prime Minister conveyed heartiest felicitations on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan to President Erdogan on his re-election as President of Türkiye and wished him continued success.
Acknowledging President Erdogan’s visionary leadership, the Prime Minister stated that Turkiye’s impressive strides in all fields during the past twenty years were most remarkable achievement.
He said as the Turkish Republic commemorates its centenary this year, it was befitting that President Erdogan would continue to lead the great nation on the path to progress and prosperity.
The Prime Minister also thanked the Turkish President for his efforts to promote regional peace, and for the President’s commitment to diplomacy and dialogue.
Reiterating his commitment to further strengthen Pakistan-Turkiye brotherly ties and enhancing diverse strategic partnership, the Prime Minister invited President Erdogan to visit Pakistan to co-chair the 7th Meeting of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Islamabad.
Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy historic relations that transcend the boundaries of time and geography. Both countries have always stood by each other in times of need while celebrating each other’s success.
The President thanked the Prime Minister and reciprocated the warm sentiments, as well as expressing his best wishes for the government and people of Pakistan.
Later, the Prime Minister joined other world leaders at the Banquet hosted by President Erdogan for the visiting dignitaries.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says historic victory of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in presidential election was an expression of the continued confidence reposed by the Turkish people in him.
This was expressed by her during a meeting with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of inauguration ceremony at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on Saturday.
In a statement, the Information Minister hoped that under his leadership, Turkiye would further prosper.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said Pakistan and Turkiye were brotherly countries, and their relations would get a boost in the coming days.
