Ambassador of Italy Andreas Ferrarese says two sides agreed to establish a joint framework to deal with climate change and cooperation, water management to deal with climate change.
Islamabad: Pakistan and Italy on Saturday agreed to broaden and diversify bilateral relations, particularly in the field of economic cooperation.
This was stated by Ambassador of Italy Andreas Ferrarese while addressing a ceremony marking National Day of the Italy in Islamabad on Friday.
The Ambassador said that two sides agreed to establish a joint framework to deal with climate change and cooperation, water management to deal with climate change.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said both Pakistan and Italy enjoy excellent relations which are poised to grow more in the coming days.
The minister said Pakistan duly recognizes the Italian goodwill gesture and seeks to further expand these relations.
He said Italy is an important country in the European Union which always supported Pakistan be it GSP plus or any other issue.
