Washington DC: US State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said: “We want to see stable and prosperous Pakistan that is in interest of US-Pakistan Relations”.
While giving a briefing, the spokesperson of US Ministry Vedant Patel, said that they engage directly with their Pakistani partners on the issues that are of importance to the United States and to broader regional security and stability.
The spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs refrained from answering the question about Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, saying that a statement is not made on every diplomatic contact.
