Islamabad: Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) approved to increase the prices of 49 medicines.
According to details, ECC meeting chaired by Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar approved the state guarantee of Rs9.5 billion for Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway and a grant of Rs839.01 million for the New Gwadar International Airport project.
The announcement issued by Ministry of Finance stated that Rs121.4 million have been approved for the establishment division in the meeting, whereas Rs700 million for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The resolution of employee pension issues was also approved. Rs116.5 million for the Ministry of Human Rights were approved, while Rs9.14 billion to complete the coal-fired power project in Jamshoro.
In the meeting, it was approved to release Rs47 million for the establishment of levies center in the areas of former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rs470 million for the peace mission troops in the United Nations and Rs49.5 million for the martyrs and injured of the Swat tragedy.
Rs48.4 million have been approved for the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Rs110 million for the construction of National Counter Terrorism Authority Pakistan (NACTA) Headquarters was also approved.
