Canada braces for devastating wildfire season as blazes engulf.

Quebec: Canada is preparing for what could be its most destructive wildfire season in history, with warm and dry conditions expected to persist throughout the summer.
As wildfires continue to rage across nearly all provinces and territories, officials have raised concerns about the increased risk of fires across the country until August.
Unprecedented distribution of fires has been observed this year, with blazes spreading from coast to coast.
Quebec, in eastern Canada, has been particularly affected, as multiple fires ignited by lightning have swept through the region.
The area burned has been increasing at an alarming rate, potentially reaching record levels if the trend continues.
Evacuations have been carried out in Nova Scotia and coastal areas of Quebec due to rapidly spreading wildfires.
So far, approximately 3.3 million hectares of land have been consumed by wildfires, which is thirteen times the ten-year average.
Over 120,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes, and the impact on oil and gas production in Alberta, the primary crude-producing province, has been significant.
Air pollution from the fires has also affected both Canada and the United States. Wildfires rank as the second most expensive disaster in Canada, after flooding.
