Five people burnt alive as car catches fire on M2 motorway
The officials stated that all the five people in the car died due to burns.
Islamabad: Five people were burnt to death as a car caught fire near Pindi Bhattian on M2 Motorway.
According to the spokesperson of Motorway Police, a high-speed car traveling from Lahore to Islamabad went out of control while overtaking and hit a tree, due to which its petrol tank exploded and the car caught fire.
The officials stated that all the five people in the car died due to burns.
Police and rescue teams were immediately called on the site who shifted the bodies to the hospital.
Police, however, cordoned off the area to start an investigation of the incident.
