PML-N to conduct intra-party elections today
Aurangzeb also said that party's central leadership, officials and leaders will participate in the meeting.
Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will hold intra-party elections today (Friday), party spokesperson and Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb announced.
Turning to Twitter, Marriyum wrote: “The important meeting of the General Council of Pakistan Muslim League (N) will be held today in Islamabad”.
The meeting will be held in main secretariat of PML-N in Chak Shahzad at 2:30pm, told the minister.
Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, party president Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting, she added.
“Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz will also participate in the meeting,” further wrote the minister.
Aurangzeb also said that party's central leadership, officials and leaders will participate in the meeting.

Sources told that it is expected that Shehbaz Sharif will be elected as party president unopposed. Whereas Ahsan Iqbal will be elected as Secretary General of PML-N.
