Meta services restored after hours-long outrage
Meta services were outraged for two hours.


California: Meta, the parent company of popular social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, experienced a significant outage lasting for approximately two hours.
Users around the world reported difficulties accessing the platforms and using the messaging services.
The outage affected nearly 20,000 users, with complaints pouring in from various countries.
During the outage, WhatsApp users faced issues with sending messages and voice notes, while Instagram users encountered problems with using the app and logging in.
Facebook users experienced login difficulties and server connection issues.
The outage was tracked by Downdetector.com, which recorded a substantial number of reports from affected users.
Meta acknowledged the issue on Twitter, assuring users that they were working to resolve it as quickly as possible and expressing gratitude for their patience.
Finally, in the early hours of Saturday, Meta announced that the problem had been fixed and all services were back to normal.
No specific reason was provided for the outage, and Meta also confirmed that any issues with their Ads Manager tool had been resolved.
