Karachi: Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, responsible for moon sighting in Pakistan, is scheduled to convene in Karachi tomorrow to search for the Zilhajj moon.
Chairman Moulana Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting, which aims to determine the start of the Islamic month of Zilhajj.
Additionally, simultaneous meetings of the zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will be held at their respective headquarters on the same day and time.
Experts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department, government representatives, and other members of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be present during the meeting.
Eid-ul-Azha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is celebrated on the 10th day of Zilhajj worldwide by Muslims.
