Indecent videos case: Court grants bail to TikToker Sundal Khattak
TikToker's lawyer argued that Sundal had not received any notice, however the case was registered directly.
Islamabad: A local court in Islamabad Tuesday granted bail to TikToker Sundal Khattak who was arrested in the case of leaking indecent videos of her former friend TikToker Hareem Shah on TikTok, GNN reported.
According to details, special central judge Azam Khan of a local court in Islamabad heard the bail plea of TikToker Sundal Khattak in the presence of her lawyer Musaddiq Barki.
After hearing the arguments, the court accepted Khattak's bail plea ordering her release.
TikToker's lawyer argued that Sundal had not received any notice, however the case was registered directly.
Sundal in her statement counter-accused the former friend, saying, “She has been blackmailing me through indecent photos for a year”.
She added that Hareem’s videos have just been leaked, I neither made the video nor leaked it,” stating that as per Tiktok’s policy inappropriate content cannot be posted on the platform.
Sundal was arrested by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on June 12 in the case.
TikToker Hareem Shah—who gained fame by posting videos of politicians and famous personalities on social media— video was leaked on social media a few months ago.
After the videos went viral, Shah blamed her old friend Khattak in Instagram story.
