The US-based tech giant has transformed its doodle into an animated video doodle highlighting the importance of planting seeds for a brighter and greener land.

The illustration leads users to a short film titled ‘Earth Day 2021 Doodle’ on YouTube. The animated doodle firstly shows a small girl planting a sapling which later grows into a tall tree as the girl ages. After this, she inspires a young boy to plant a tree and the cycle continues.
The basic message through this illustration is to highlight the importance of planting one tree per person.
The theme for this year's Earth Day is "Restore Our Earth".
As per Google's blog, "Today's video Doodle shows a variety of trees being planted within natural habitats, one of the many ways we can do our part to keep our Earth healthy for future generations."
“This Earth Day is all about encouraging everyone to find one small act they can do to restore our Earth,” the blog added.
“This year’s annual Earth Day Doodle highlights how everyone can plant the seed to a brighter future — one sapling at a time!” Google wrote.
Earth Day is celebrated worldwide on April 22 annually to raise public awareness about the environment and inspire people to save and protect it.
According to statistics, almost 1 billion people in 192 countries participate in Earth Day activities each year.
