Gilani House spokesman told that WAPDA officials were working on the pole outside the house, suddenly fire broke out in the bedroom and drawing room.


Multan: Fire broke out in the house of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader and former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in Multan.
According to the rescue authorities, the blaze has been brought under control. However the goods of two rooms were burnt, there was no loss of life due to the fire.
Spokesman of Gilani House says that Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) officials were working on the pole outside Gilani House, suddenly a fire broke out in the bedroom and drawing room.
He also told that the electricity did not go off despite the main switch being turned off. Yousaf Raza Gilani, Haider Gilani and Abdul Qadir Gilani were present in the house.
