The senior lawyer who addresses press conference along with senior lawyer Barrister Aitaza Ahsan has questioned the role of police in his case, saying that how an ASI could become complainant in his case when he himself is there.

Lahore: Former Punjab Governor and eminent lawyer Sardar Latif Khan Khosa questioned the role of the police in a case related to attack on his house, raising a question that how an an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) could lodge FIR when he, being a victim, was presnet there.
He urged the relevant authorities to arrest the right culprits involved in carrying out attack on his house.
Sardar Latif Khan Khosa said that they had proper information and evidence about the suspects involved in carrying out attack on his house.
“The attackers were the pillion riders and they did proper recce before the attack, and the footages of the attack were also there,” said the lawyer while addressing a press conference flanked by another senior lawyer Barrister Chaudhary Aitzaz Ahsan in Lahore on Wednesday.

“O Bhai, for God sake, you should arrest the right culprits and those who are behind it. This is very strange that you have brought this “lamba” and asked him to do a press conference after his so called confession”.
“How is it possible? He has no enmity with Zubair Niazi,” Khosa.
He also questioned the role of the police for not reaching out to him in the said case, saying that nobody contacted him since the day the firing was done on his house, and now a complaint was lodged by an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
He questioned that he is a practicing lawyer and had been in the profession for a long time while his colleague Aitzaz Ahsan is also a veteran lawyer, and it was quite surprising for them that how an ASI became complainant of the attack on his house.
He rejected the nomination of Zubair Niazi in his case, saying that he had no dispute with the Niazi and it was quite surprising for him as to why he was booked in this case.
