Former Punjab Assembly Member (MPA) and 19 others arrested in connection with May 9 incidents.
Attock: Police have apprehended 20 individuals, including a former member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA), Syed Yawer Abbas Bukhari, in connection with the May 9 incident where the suspects concealed their involvement and returned home to celebrate Eid, according to the police.
Attock police have successfully arrested 20 suspects, including former MPA Yawer Abbas Bukhari, who were involved in the May 9 incident.
According to the police, among the suspects is the brother of former MPA Yawer Abbas Bukhari.
The arrested individuals were named in various cases and have been transferred to Attock District Jail.
As per the spokesperson, the arrested suspects were involved in stone-pelting, arson, and vandalism.
They had been in hiding since May 9 and discreetly returned home to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.
