A report highlighted instances of racial bias within England's cricket system.

London: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has sought unconditional and unreserved exemptions from all players who have been overlooked or felt excluded from the system, according to a letter written by ECB Chairman Richard Thompson to Commission Head Cindy Butts.
Richard Thompson, expressing his regret with apologetic words, stated that the time has come to rebuild the system to ensure equal opportunities for everyone without any discrimination.
It is worth mentioning that the Independent Commission for Equality has published a 317-page report, which points out incidents of racial and class bias within England's cricket system.
The commission was established in response to allegations made by several players, including the renowned cricketer of Pakistani origin, Azim Rafiq.
Report was compiled after seeking opinions from 4,000 individuals residing in Britain.
