Lahore: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Lahore Monday extended the judicial remand of renowned designer Khadija Shah for 14 days who was arrested in Jinnah House arson and vandalism case on May 9.
According to details, ATC Judge Abhar Gul Khan heard the case when Shah was presented in his court at the end of her judicial remand.
After hearing the arguments, the court extended Khadija Shah's judicial remand for 14 days and ordered her to be produced on July 17.
Moreover, the judge also ordered the police to submit a challan for the case.
Notably, Khadija Shah is currently imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore. Her granddaughter is the former Army Chief General Asif Nawaz Janjua and father is former Finance Advisor Salman Shah.
Last month, a representative of US Consulate met Khadija Shah in the jail as she is also a US national.
The meeting of the Consulate representative with the designer lasted for about an hour during which the legal aspects related to her releasewere reviewed.
