The case against Shah Mehmood had been filed in Khanna police station Islamabad.
Islamabad: District and Sessions Court of Islamabad Tuesday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi till July 15 in vandalism and arson case of May 9, GNN reported.
According to details, the case against Shah Mehmood had been filed in Khanna police station Islamabad.
Shah appeared before Additional Sessions Judge Syed Muhammad Haroon Shah, however, due to the absence of lawyer Ali Bukhari, arguments could not be made. The court extended the bail and adjourned the hearing of the case till July 15.
Speaking to the media outside court, Vice Chairman PTI said: “The standby agreement of three billion dollar has temporarily halted the risk of default,” adding that we need to find a solution for what will happen after few months.
