The cricketer is meant to spread positivity and avoid negative propaganda to preserve the country's image.

Lahore: Waqar Riaz, the sports advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab, has apologized for his viral video taken during the rainfall in Lahore.
After heavy rainfall on Wednesday, the entire city of Lahore was submerged in water, and Walton Road was completely flooded.
The authorities were seen as actively engaged in drainage efforts. The Chief Minister's monitor, Mohsin Naqvi, also visited the affected areas to assess the situation.
In his tweet, Waqar Riaz stated that mistakes happen, and sometimes we inadvertently look at things from the wrong perspective.
He apologized for the incident that occurred yesterday, attributing it to an unintentional mistake.
He emphasized the need to spread positivity and avoid negative propaganda to uphold the image of our beautiful country.
However, despite his apology, Waqar Riaz is facing severe criticism for his video of touring the roads after the rain, which has gone viral on social media.
