Alert issued as concerned of excessive water to be released from India.

Lahore: There are concerns about excessive water release from India into the Chenab River in the next two days.
The excessive water may result in a high-level or severe flood in Chenab, prompting the Flood Warning Center to issue an alert.
A major flood wave from India is expected to reach Marala Barrage, located downstream from Occupied Jammu, and authorities have been alerted from Sialkot to Jhang district.
There are also concerns about flooding in the tributaries of Chenab and Ravi on Sunday and Monday.
The Flood Warning Center has issued a flood warning for the hilly streams of Dera Ghazi Khan Division, Northern Balochistan.
According to the Flood Warning Center, Kohat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan's smaller rivers could also experience a surge in water levels.
